Giving Back to the Community
EqualiTeach operates on a not-for-profit basis and is committed to the vision of an equal, inclusive and productive society where everyone is valued and able to succeed.
Our organisational aims are:
- To empower young people to think critically and reject prejudice and misinformation, and to become active citizens to create positive change.
- To empower adults to promote equality, diversity and inclusion; educate others; and tackle prejudice and discrimination.
- To capacitate senior leaders to embed equality, diversity and inclusion through policy and practice.
- To influence and inform government to promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout decision-making.
You Help Us to Bring Positive Change to All
Alongside supporting workplaces to embed best practice on equality and diversity, we recognise the impact of inequality on children and young people and want all young people to grow up in a world free from prejudice and discrimination.
Schools, particularly those in deprived areas, are not always in the financial position to pay for crucial equality work alongside other necessities. Therefore 10% of the fees charged for workplace training is ringfenced to provide services for schools, including workshops for children and young people free of charge.
Nominate a School
If there is a school in your local area who you think would benefit from working with us, please provide us with details during your booking process.
If you don’t have a school in mind, that’s not a problem… we get regular enquiries from schools across the country who would benefit from this support.
