Our work with schools and education settings is focused on embedding a culture of acceptance and understanding, ensuring the whole school community can enjoy an environment where they are valued and can achieve their full potential.
We know that each education setting is different, and so we will work with you to find out how we can best support you in your work, whether that be policy review, staff training, workshops for pupils, working towards an Equalities Award or perhaps all of the above!
EqualiTeach Empowered
EqualiTeach Empowered is an online subscription service providing schools with access to a huge range of EDI resources, guidance and support so school teams can make positive change at a pace that is right for them.
The subscription includes unlimited user accounts, half termly webinars on various equality topics where questions can be submitted in advance, a range of guidance documents, videos, templates, lesson plans and resources, all structured around a step-by-step pathway for embedding equality effectively throughout the school.

Getting to know you
We always start with a call to find out more about you and how we can work together.
We can discuss an in-depth and impactful approach to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion and develop a tailored proposal for your school or setting.
EQUALITY Consultation and action planning
Helping you to plan for positive change
Our expert team works with senior leadership teams to create whole school change. This may include reviewing policies and procedures; providing advice and support on conducting a self-evaluation audit and identifying areas for improvement; setting equality objectives and creating and implementing action plans. We can support schools to create equality working groups, conduct Equality Impact Assessments and implement positive action in recruitment and promotion.
Together with the school, we identify themes and priorities to inform and tailor our approach, ensuring our packages are bespoke to each setting’s needs.
Equalities Award
Support and recognition of achievements
The Equalities Award is an online auditing tool providing schools with the opportunity to evaluate, strengthen and showcase their whole school approach to equality, diversity and inclusion. With multiple award levels, you can gain recognition for your ongoing work and commitment to equality.
Working towards an Award provides a robust audit of the work in place, and a framework within which to embed best practice throughout the school, with tailored guidance and support from EqualiTeach.
Staff Training
Engaging equality training sessions
We deliver engaging and informative equality and diversity training sessions for teachers, support staff, senior leadership teams and governors, with tailored content based on our initial consultation with the school. These can be delivered face-to-face, or as live online sessions via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
In addition to our live training, we also provide an e-learning platform.
Student Workshops
Fun and educational activities
We visit schools and education settings to bring fun and interactive equality and diversity workshops to children and young people.
We deliver workshops on topics deemed most relevant to each setting’s requirements, providing a safe space for young people to learn about and discuss issues of equality and diversity.
EqualiTeach will work with the school to make suitable plans for our expert team to deliver sessions within the school’s usual timetable.

Supporting materials for the classroom
We have developed a range of resources to support schools in their equality and diversity work. These include information and guidance documents, lesson plans and activities on various equality topics and sample documents. All are available to download free of charge.
